"Those are the cutest weights ever 🍩💖"
Chelsea Handler is flaunting her P.H.D. in a new workout video on Instagram. And by P.H.D. she means "Pretty Huge Deadlift," per the back of her t-shirt.
The 47-year-old comedian cracked jokes with her trainer while crushing her deadlifts. She also used weighted plates that were designed to look like doughnuts and pizza.
The comedian captioned her post, "I used to hate working out until @benbrunotraining turned me into a beast! Monday morning reboot! Let’s go! @jokoy is still in bed."
Chelsea's followers cheered her on in the comment section, and many of them were also fans of her food-inspired weighted plates. "You are BADASS💪," said one user. "Those are the cutest weights ever 🍩💖," added another. "Omg, I love those plates!!! 😂 I need those!" a third person chimed.

Chelsea has come a long way with how she views her fitness regimen.
“To me, working out is about being strong in your body for your health, while before it was about being physically looking good,” she told People. “Now I’m like, I have to mentally be strong in order to work hard and get s— done. It makes you feel better. At a certain age, you’re just like, okay. I mean, obviously, I want to look good too, but it becomes more about being mentally strong.”
Chelsea's no stranger to intense workouts either. In the past, her trainer has posted videos of her taking on moves like a single-leg body saw and weighted hanging leg raises.
He captioned the post, "As tricky as @chelseahandler can be sometimes, I gotta say that she has some serious core strength."

Chelsea also told Women’s Health that she views food as a way to "serve me and help me function.” Before starting her workouts, she reaches for celery juice followed by scrambled egg whites with avocado and Parmesan cheese.
